Manjanikara Mor Ignatius Dayara and St.Steaphens Jacobite Cathedral solemnly celebrating the 76th Dukhrono of The Patriarch St.Elas III from 10 to 16 Frebruary 2008.  Adequate facilities are arranged for the thousands of participants who are expected to reach dayro as part of the annual Manjinikkara pilgrimage.

On Sunday, the 10th February 2008, after the Holy Mass at Manjinikara Dayara the Patriarchal flag will be hoisting  at the dayro premises. All the Syrian Jacobite churches in India would observe February 10 as the Patriarchal-flag hoisting day. On that day a special Holy Tri-Mass would be held at the dayro cathedral under the leadership of H.E. Yuhananon Mor Milithios (Metropolitan of Thumpamon diocese), H.E. Mathews Mor Thevodosios (Metropolitan of Kollam diocese)  and H.E. Geevarghese Mor Athanasios (dayro auxiliary Metropolitan).

From Monday, February 11 at 19:00hrs Bible convention will start and will be continuing for the next three days.   Dayara Cathedral will have Holy Qurbana everyday at 07:30 AM and evening prayers at 05:00PM.

On 15th February pilgrim will arrive 15:00hr from all over the malankara and grater india diocese, Officials are giving a tratditional reception under the leadership of dayro head H.E. Geevarghese Mor Devanasious, auxiliary Metropolitan H.E. Geevarghese Mor Athanasios and St.Stephen's Chuchrch Perunal Commite at Omallur Cross Junction and lead the way to the Holy tomb of H. H. St. Elias III.  H. B.The Catholicose will lead the evening prayer and Dhoopaprarthana at the holy tomb, all bishops of Malankara and the appostolic representative H.E. Mor Gregorios Shemoun Saliba will participate.

A public meeting (Pilgrim sangamam) will be held at 18:00hrs in the premises of Dayara Cahtedral would be presided over by His Beatitude the Catholicos Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I, the Metropolitan Trustee & head of the Malankara Syrian Church. The honourable Minister for State, Mons Joseph, would inaugurate the meeting. Representative of His Holiness the Patriarch of Antioch, H.E. Mor Gregorios Shemoun Saliba would deliver the benediction address. H.E. Yuhananon Mor Philexinos, Metropolitan of Malabar diocese, would deliver the key-note address.

on 16th morning at 03:00hrs Holy Qurbono will be celebrated at St. Stephen's cathedral led by H.E. Yuhananon Mor Milithios, Metropolitan of Thumpamon diocese. At 05:30hrs The Holy Tri-Mass will be consecrated at Mor Ignatious Dayara Cathedral by His Beatitude the Catholicos Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I, assisted by H.E. Mor Severios Abraham and H.E. Mor Chrysostmos Markose.

At 08:00hrs the Appostolic representative H.E. Mor Gregorios Shemoun Saliba will dedicate the Holy Qurbono at Dayara Cathedral. After the Holy Qurbono the Perunal Rasa will start and the 76th dukhrono celebration of St.Elias III will come to an end with the Rasa..

46 th Dukhrono of Mor Yulios Elias Quoro 

Manjinikara Dayaro solemnly celebrating the 46th Dukhrono of Mor Yulios Elias Qoro (the third Patriarchal delegate to Malankara) on February 22 and 23. The celebrations were started at 05:00Pm on 22 February 2008 with the evening prayer. On 23 February 2008 there is a special Holy Tri-Mass will be consecrated at Mor Ignatious Dayara Cathedral. After that the clebration will come to an end with  Procession, blessings and distribution of offerings.
